Grief while extremely painful, is a normal and expected reaction especially caused when someone we love dies. It is characterized by deep sadness and an intense yearning to be with that person again. Grief is a natural response to loss. It's the emotional suffering you feel when someone or something you love is taken away. Losing someone important to us can be emotionally devastating - whether that be a partner, family member, friend or pet. Often, the pain of loss can feel overwhelming.
